The goal of the project raise awareness and to fight domestic violence against women and children.
The objectives of the project
- Inform and make aware the nurses and the midwives concerning the implications of the domestic violence and of its consequences
- Increase the involvement of nurses and midwives in supporting the victims of domestic violence and guiding them to specialized services that can provide personalize solution;
- Develop the nurses’ and midwives’ capacity for action in the best interest of the domestic violence victims, that is offering them protection against any type of abuse and violence.
Target grup nurses, midwives and nurse students from Iasi County.

The goal of the project Information concerning the types of domestic violence; the abuse does not include only physical violence, but also emotional, verbal violence, property damage and other behaviours that can inflict fear or intimidate the victims and their children. Each person should learn that there is no excuse for abusive behaviour and that the victim is never guilty;
The project plans to enforce new attitudes as: women and children deserve respect, the violent behaviour is the responsibility of the aggressor;
The abuse should not be overlooked. Nurses and Midwives should do their best to support and guide the victims of domestic violence towards specialized services
The slogan of the campaign is: ’’ There is no excuse for violence! Fight for your right to a quiet life!’’
